Veterinary Nurse Visit

As part of our 'Paws, Claws & Whiskers' project this term, the children have been learning about jobs that people do.  For literacy, the children will be making a 'lift the flap book' detailing the things needed to be able to do certain jobs.  To help with this, we invited Chloe,  a vet nurse, into school to talk to the children about what she does and the things that she needs to help her do her job.  She showed the children a stethoscope, a thermometer, her badge, pen and told the children all about how she looks after animals, bandaging them and giving them medicine when they needed it.  The children had written questions to ask Chloe about her job and she was able to answer them all!  Thanks Chloe for visiting and teaching the children all about being a vet nurse.
